Five Things Life Has Taught Me.

Five Things Life Has Taught Me.

1. Operate beneath the hype.

There is no need to announce your intentions, show results. Make plans don't announce it. Make moves, cook in silence, master your strategy but keep your cards close to your chest, when the time is ripe you can lay it down and checkmate. Hype is noise without showing working. It is a feel good energy but it never gets things done.

2. Favour is a flavour.

Your success is not determined by hardwork alone or how smart you are, you need favour too. Two people can apply for the same visa, under similar circumstances, one person will get refused, the other gets an approval. People have gotten jobs because they were remembered. It is favour to get assigned a good Immigration officer. Favour will speak for you where your hardwork has no representation.

3. Not all doors open when you knock.

Not all doors respond to knocking. There are some doors that will not open because you are not ready. Some will open if you put in more effort. Other times, it is wisdom to know when to stop knocking on some doors and move on. The strength of every door is rooted in the mind of the one knocking on it.

4. Success is not cheap talk, it is hardwork.

If you want to succeed in life, live a soft life, there is a price to pay. You need to burn the midnight oil, change your habits, make efforts, improve your skillsets, Japa and refine your mindset altogether. Talk is cheap, soft life is not.

5. Change your environment, change your life.

It goes without saying that your environment makes or breaks you. Sharks don't swim in pools.
